By way of introduction, I’m Jeannie, owner of HairlessDogs.com website, and of course, the pet parent of two cute hairless dogs. I have allergies. I’m allergic to dogs, but I LOVE them. For someone like me the solution to the allergy conundrum is to own one, or maybe even two hairless dogs. Honestly though, now that I’ve had a few hairless dogs I can say that even without allergies they’d be my first choice for a pet.
In the past I’ve been a volunteer for SAFE (Saving Animals From Euthanasia) as a foster parent. Through SAFE I was blessed to provide a temporary home for many dogs that were down on their luck. They were different sizes, breeds and mixes but none had hair to speak of, and all were wonderful. My love for these sweet critters grew with each new visitor to my home.
On speaking with potential adopters, I learned that they had a lot of the same questions and concerns. This website is my answer to those questions and more. Please visit regularly to find resources for your pets and answers to your questions.
